📺 What is “Watch Party”? And why is it significant?

As part of the Internet Street Smarts Rapid Response Microgrant program, a watch party is a community-focused gathering where participants come together to watch and engage with curated cybersecurity educational content. The goal is to create a shared learning experience that fosters dialogue, increases awareness, and encourages participants to take actionable steps, such as enrolling in the Internet Street Smarts course.

Hosting such an event is a means of bringing mutual aid and collectivism into the world of cybersecurity, as it is a part of the core of the Cyber Collective. We at Cyber Collective do not charge for access to our resources or programming as we strongly believe and act on the importance of inclusivity, equity, and collectivism in building a better and safer digital world.
